Dr. Ekaterina Stepanova

Dr. Ekaterina Stepanova is a lead researcher and heads Peace and Conflict Studies Unit and is a lead researcher at Institute of the World Economy & International Relations (IMEMO), Moscow. She also lectures at the European University in Saint-Petersburg (EUSP) international programs. In 2007-2009, she directed Armed Conflicts and Conflict Management Program at Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). Dr. Stepanova is a visiting lecturer at Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and, in 2009-2012, was an invited lecturer at European Peace University, Austria. She is a member of the expert panel of Global Peace Index, the Advisory board of the“Security in Transition” program, London School of Economics, and the Joint U.S.-Russia Expert Group on Afghan narco-trafficking.
