Dr Zbigniew Włosowicz
Dr. Zbigniew Włosowicz (born in 1955), Doctor of Law, a graduate of the Jagiellonian University, Cracow. From 1977 to 1990 lecturer, Department of Public International Law, Jagiellonian University. Between 1981 and 1983 a visiting scholar, Cambridge University, England. In 1987/1988 a research fellow, Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, Lausanne. In 1990 joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1993 to 1997 Ambassador to the United Nations in New York. In 1996 was elected as the chairman of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Executive Board. In 2000 appointed as the Special Representative of the Secretary General in Cyprus and the Chief of United Nations Peacekeeping Force In Cyprus (UNFICYP). Upon completing his mission in 2006 returned to Poland and assumed the post of the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, School of Administration, Bielsko-Biała. Also lectured at the School of European Studies In Cracow. From 2010 - 2012 served as Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence. Since February 2013, Deputy Chief of the National Security Bureau.
