Prof. Dr. Victor Kremenyuk
Prof. Dr. Victor Kremenyuk was born in Odessa (formerly USSR, now Ukraine) on 13 December 1940. He studied in Moscow, at the Institute for International Relations (MGIMO) of the Soviet Foreign Ministry, 1957-1963. He attended Course at the Military academy (1963-1964) and PhD course at the MGIMO (1965-1967). Degrees: Candidate of Economic sciences (1968), Doctor of History (1980). Since 1970 he has been working at the Institute for USA and Canada studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Dr. Kremenyuk is correspondent member of the Russian Academy of sciences. He published more than 300 works on international relations, security, foreign policy making, Russian-US relations in Russia, USA, UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Lebanon, and China. He gained his teaching experience in USA, France (University of Paris), Germany (George Marshall Center), Italy (NATO Defense college), Lebanon (St Paul University De la Sagesse), China (Shanghai Academy of Social science).
For research achievements Mr. Kremenyuk received Soviet National Prize (1980) and Russian Government Prize for strategic risk analysis (2005).
