Dr. Ana Krstinovska is President of ESTIMA, North Macedonia-based think tank on foreign policy and EU integration, and Senior Researcher at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). Previously she served in North Macedonia’s government, as State Secretary for EU Affairs, First Secretary in the Mission to the EU in Brussels, Advisor for international cooperation to the Prime Minister, and Member of the Strategic Foreign Policy Council.
Her academic background combines a PhD in Political Science from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, MA from the College of Europe, and advanced studies in Chinese Language and Literature at Beijing Foreign Studies University. A leading expert on China’s engagement in Southeast Europe, she has authored over 30 publications on China’s foreign policy, economic ties, development assistance, soft power, and influence strategies. Her research has been presented before the European Parliament and the US Congress, and is regularly cited by international media.
