Federica Mangiameli is Programme Manager and Policy Fellow at GLOBSEC’s Future of Security Programme, where her work focuses on European security and defence cooperation. She contributes to research and policy analysis on the evolving relationship between the European Union and NATO, transatlantic security, and the institutional frameworks shaping European defence. Her publications include “Advancing Europe’s Security” and “Elevating EU-NATO Synergy for Enhanced European Defence”, which examine pathways to strengthen coordination across Euro-Atlantic structures. In addition to her role at GLOBSEC, Federica was a Visiting Fellow at the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy in Brussels, where she advanced research on the European security architecture and defence policy integration. Her academic and policy contributions emphasize pragmatic approaches to enhancing cooperation, addressing strategic challenges, and fostering dialogue among European and transatlantic stakeholders in the security and defence domain.
