Alen Musaefendic is a Senior Analyst at the Swedish Psychological Defence Agency (MPF), specializing in strategic analysis of Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI). He previously led the Western Balkans StratCom Task Force within the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels, where he worked on complex challenges related to EU enlargement policy and the Stabilisation and Association Process. A central focus of his Brussels role was countering FIMI.
Alen brings a diverse professional background, having worked as a policy expert, economist, and journalist. He holds two Master’s degrees: in International Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and in International Management from the Community of European Management Schools (CEMS).
