Marash Dukaj

Minister, Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro

Marash Dukaj was born in 1985 and is a prominent figure in public administration and education in Montenegro. He completed his undergraduate studies in Teaching at the University of Montenegro and earned a Master’s degree in School Psychology from the European University of Tirana.

He began his professional career as a primary school teacher in Tuz, with a special focus on working with children with special needs, which further shaped his commitment to education and social policy. Later, he served as an editor and journalist at Boin Television, deepening his engagement with social issues and public communication.

For six years, he was part of the Ministry of Education, where he held the position of Deputy Minister, contributing to the development of national education policies. In addition, he held leadership roles in the local administration of the Municipality of Tuz, gaining extensive experience in institutional management and local governance.

Since April 28, 2022, Marash Dukaj has been serving as the Minister of Public Administration in the Government of Montenegro. He currently also serves as the Political Director of the Albanian Alternative party.
