Adnan Rondić was born in 1971. He obtained BA degree in communication studies and MA degree in political studies at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, where he participated in the interdisciplinary doctoral studies program.
He has worked as a journalist since 1992, when he started his career at the biggest private television in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Hayat TV. He later worked as a correspondent for the Voice of America from Bosnia and Herzegovina, before joining Al Jazeera Balkans in 2011, as a presenter and senior reporter.
In addition to working in the studio, he has reported from Turkey, Turkish –Syrian border, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Iran.
He has also covered the Commemorations of Srebrenica Genocide, as well as ICTY judgments for the war crimes committed in the territory of former Yugoslavia.
Adnan is the author of the media industry handbook Medijski nastup(ati): Smjernice za rad s medijima / Media appear(ance): Guidelines for working with the media/, and the book Živjeti Srebrenicu / Living the Life of Srebrenica.
