Adrian Davidoiu is a Romanian diplomat, appointed in 2022 as Special Representative of the MFA of Romania for the Western Balkans. He has an extensive career within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, up to the position of Director General, Head of Department for Strategic Affairs. He was posted abroad in several Romanian bilateral and multilateral diplomatic missions. Between 2015-2021 he was Ambassador of Romania to Norway. He studied Philology at the University of Bucharest and pursued further university studies in Law and International Affairs, with post-graduate studies and training programmes at the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Geneva Centre for Security Policy, Templeton College in Oxford, Institute of Advanced Studies in National Defence in Paris, NATO Defence College in Rome. He was head of Romanian delegations to various regional or international meetings and working formats and held lectures at the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest.
